Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
ChipReminder is designed as a private, lightweight recovery chip tracker. This policy explains what the app collects, how it is used, and what to keep in mind when naming tracks or receiving reminders.
Information We Collect
ChipReminder stores the email address you use to sign in, optional nickname information, recovery track names, recovery start dates, meeting weekdays, chip status, reminder settings, and reminder delivery records.
How We Use Information
We use your information to sign you in, show your dashboard, calculate chip milestones, keep chip history, and send requested email reminders.
Email Sign-In Links and Reminders
ChipReminder uses secure email links for login. Sign-in links expire after 10 minutes. Reminder emails may include track names, chip names, and dates, so choose track labels that feel appropriate for email.
What ChipReminder Is Not
ChipReminder is not medical advice, treatment, counseling, crisis support, or a replacement for meetings, sponsorship, professional care, or emergency services.
Sharing
ChipReminder does not include public profiles, social feeds, or built-in sharing. Your information is used to operate the app and send messages you request.
Security
The app uses standard safeguards such as session-based authentication, expiring sign-in links, and protected login records. No web app can guarantee perfect security, so avoid using highly sensitive details in track names.
Data Changes
You can update track names, dates, status, and reminder settings from inside the app. For account-level requests, contact support at: [email protected].
